Guruve Community Information Centre Officially Opens

Guruve Community Information Centre (CIC) was officially opened by the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Hon. Kazembe Kazembe on the 25th of January 2019 in Mashonaland Central province. The Community Information Centre is a one stop ICT shop which offers the following services:

Internet surfing

Photocopying

Printing

Scanning

Faxing

Laminating and

Gaming

Zimpost, under the guidance of the Ministry of ICT, Postal and Courier Services and Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) is setting up CICs in all provinces of the country. Setting up of the CICs is meant to bridge the digital divide between the urban and the rural communities, as most people in cities have access to computers whilst the majority in the rural have limited access to available technology.
